Salesians of Don Bosco High School

In every era, a charismatic figure often emerges to uplift the spirit of the times and rescue it from decline. When the youth of Italy found themselves immersed in the mire of immorality, God sent John Bosco, a humble peasant boy from Becchi, to be a beacon of hope. His mission was to guide the youth back to the path of virtue and lead them towards the divine.

From his early years, John Bosco encountered numerous challenges and hardships. Bereaved of his father at the tender age of two and hailing from a family with limited means, he grappled with adversity. Balancing the demands of various trades to sustain himself, he also pursued his studies with determination, eventually realizing his calling to the priesthood.

Endowed with firsthand experience of the trials of poverty and labor during his youth, John Bosco developed profound empathy and affection for the underprivileged and abandoned youth. As a priest, he dedicated his entire life to serving the youth. Throughout his lifetime, he founded several technical schools, offering education and employment opportunities to countless young individuals navigating the rapidly industrializing cities of Europe.

Today, the Salesians of Don Bosco, driven by the same compassionate spirit, continue Don Bosco's noble service to the youth worldwide. In the Hyderabad Province of India, the Salesians, in harmony with the principles of their founder, passionately undertake the education and welfare of numerous young minds in this region.
